Tobago tourism stakeholders ready to welcome the world

The Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL) will be embarking on a joint training initiative to encourage excellence in service delivery within the tourism industry, in a two day event on October 17 and 18, 2019.

“Heartfelt Guest Care to Welcome the World” is an engaging, dynamic and highly participatory training development workshop for tourism and hospitality professionals, created by Virgin Holidays and sponsored by the Tobago Tourism Agency, the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association, and CHTA Education Foundation

A key component of the marketing tactics identified by TTAL, following the rebranding of the destination was to focus on the memorable moments created for guests with acts that go beyond ordinary into the extraordinary.

In keeping with this strategy, it is expected that this two-day workshop will enhance the interactions between service providers and guests, which will also result in increased satisfaction scores from visitors to the island.

“Heartfelt Guest Care to Welcome the World” will be facilitated by the energetic and inspiring Louise John of Talk About & Earth Solutions, who will provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to perfect the customer service experience, while also stressing the importance of diversity and inclusion.
