Man-O-War Bay

This Bay was called various names by the Europeans who first ventured there. The Dutch called it "Groete Kuylsack Bay", the English named it "John Moore's Bay" in the 1760's after Commodore John Moore of the Royal Navy and Man-O-War Bay because of its sheltered anchorage for men-of-war and sailing ships of those times. This bay is quite good for swimming. A beach facility with change rooms is available here.
